Comprometem também a sua integridade moral porque mergulham numa dicotomia entre as chamadas telefónicas e a “situação de insegurança alimentar aguda alta” no sul do país.

It is up to us to decide how to spend the 24 hours at our disposal, whether positive or negative. Any of these options has profound impacts on our private or collective life. If it is negative, the consequences are much more disastrous and, probably, irreversible at the collective level.
The telephone conversations between the President of the Republic and his counterparts in Israel and Portugal, during or after Adalberto Costa Júnior’s visit to those countries, raise concerns about his choice of priorities as the nation’s high representative.
The phone calls compromise his moral integrity by placing him in a dichotomy between phone calls and the “situation of acute food insecurity” in the country’s south.
